If you have recently tried to access Xbox Live, you will get the following error message:

“Some Xbox LIVE content is temporarily unavailable. You can still access your profile, communicate with other players, and play games online.
The content will automatically appear when it’s available.
Status Code: 8007274c”

Although it states you can ‘play games online’ a few users have been complaining on popular Xbox forums that some games, including Modern Warfare 2, can not be accessed. The same problem doesn’t seem to apply to all from what we’ve heard so far but it’s still causing problems for some.

click on image to enlarge Now that the Xbox 360 Elite has officially dropped in price and killed off the Pro, it was only a matter of time before there’d be a new rumor to pin on Microsoft’s console. Amazon Germany, who previously listed the PlayStation 3 Slim a good 20 days before the official debut (it still has the same Amazon Stock Identification Number as it did when leaked), has... Read More

Idiots on Xbox Live

August 27th, 2009 | No Comments »

Anyone who has played a multiplayer game on Xbox Live has undoubtedly met one of these fuck stools. They are the bane of the online gaming world and need to be dealt with. America passed the Patriot Act, let’s put it to good use for once and track down these intellectually under developed pole smokers. The question is what do we do with them once we have them? What measure of pain should we inflict... Read More

Gay gamer’s Gamertag banned from LIVE

May 26th, 2009 | 2 Comments »

Anyone who has spent any amount of time playing games on Xbox LIVE knows that it isn’t the friendliest place for gay gamers. The word gay gets thrown around as an insult so often (even by people who don’t think that they’re homophobic) that I don’t know how any gay gamer gets through a match of Halo without being seriously insulted. Now Microsoft has taken it to another level by banning a gay... Read More

1 vs. 100 will be free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers

April 27th, 2009 | 5 Comments »

Are you disappointed by the lack of perks associated with Xbox Live’s “Gold member” status? We expect most membership tiers named after Au-some precious metals to include special jackets, or possibly unrestricted access to some sort of highly exclusive drinking establishment where people much cooler than us hang out. Instead, we get unrestricted access to bold new pejorative descriptors... Read More
